Rock Climbing Qualification
- Single Pitch Award from MCI or Equivalent, combined with an ability to lead climbs confidently at a H.V.S. standard

Mountaineering Qualification
- M.I.C. (Mountain Instructor Certificate) or
- M.I.A. (Mountain Instructor Award)

Gymnastics Qualification
All elements should be attempted for assessment. It is a requirement that the applicant attains all skills to a competent level,demonstrating both agility and strength with an overall pass level of 70 percent, no individual section below 60 percent.

- Swing and back flyaway dismount.
- Muscle up and hold half lever.

- Layout squat through
- Handspring
Long horse 1.3m high
- Straddle vault.
Parallel Bars
- Swing to handstand and hold three seconds.
- Back uprise from upper arms.
- Upper arm upstart.
- Short upstart on end of bars.
- Flank vault dismount.

- Forward hip circle
